Polyamory Content Creators
Jul 04, 2024As part of the Week of Visibility for Non-Monogamy, we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some amazing poly content creators. Whether you’re looking to be a better ally to your poly friends, want answers to all your burning questions, or are simply curious, these creators are for you!
@antimononormative
AntiMonoNormative is run by PhD student & digital content creator Nayeli, a queer, Indigenous, polyamorous person. Nayeli’s content focuses on challenging the social institution of mononormativity from a political perspective. This includes highlighting the historical oppression and violence perpetrated by mononormativity and de-centering White, Western perspectives within discussions of non-monogamy.
@polypage
Poly Pages, run by Claire Louise Travers, advocates for the inclusion of non-monogamous and alternative relationship strategies in social research and public policy. The account features a wide variety of educational content from common questions and glossary terms, to addressing red flags within the poly community such as unqualified peer support and abuse.
@decolonisinglove
Decolonizing Love is a polyamorous couple’s account featuring Millie and Nick. Their content approaches polyamory from a decolonising praxis, exploring the intersection of polyamory with decolonisation, desirability politics, and toxic masculinity. Their work aims to make polyamory more accessible and inclusive and to provide holistic support for individuals navigating polyamorous relationships.
@polyamfam
Chad, or polyamfam, creates content that seeks to normalise polyamory and address common misconceptions of the poly lifestyle. Their content offers the unique perspective of a masculine polyamorous person, using humour and educational tools to cultivate a space where polyamorists and other non-monogamists are seen and validated.
@marjanilane
Marjani Lane, run by Ebony, focuses on ethical non-monogamy & alternative love styles while emphasising Black representation. Ebony, who identifies as solo polyamorous, pansexual enby (non-binary), curates safe educational spaces for ethical non-monogamous people, with a focus on the polyamorous audience.
